Yeah, I think so Chris. It would also be fun and interesting to hear from some who are in this position to see how creative they are getting to try and solve this problem.

Should a pastor live in the community that he serves?

I believe she or he should.

If not, can he really be a part of that community?

I'm tempted to say "no", but then I began to wonder if a pastor is part of that city's "business community" (through, say, the Chamber of Commerce, service clubs, government interaction, etc), shouldn't this count as "community"?
